Aspens is a specialist charity supporting people on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities, and their families, across the South East. Operating throughout Kent, Sussex, Bexley and Surrey, the organisation delivers a broad range of services that help people live more independently, participate in their communities and achieve better outcomes throughout their lives.

Formed in 2017 through the merger of two well-established charities, Aspens combines more than a century of experience in specialist disability support. Today, it supports more than 700 people and their families through residential care, supported living, community-based services, family support and specialist programmes designed around individual needs and aspirations.

The organisation has a strong reputation for its autism expertise, Positive Behaviour Support capability and family-centred approach. Commissioners, families and local communities value the quality of support delivered and the commitment of colleagues across the organisation.

In recent years, there has been a renewed focus on strengthening organisational capability, investing in leadership, enhancing systems and ensuring the charity is well positioned for the future. Alongside this, there is a clear ambition to continue developing services, improving outcomes and exploring opportunities for sustainable growth.
